Walk in the Park. Brampton Bryan

25th May from 3pm. Start from the Parish Hall and take one of two conducted walks through the private areas of the Brampton Bryan Park .

The walk finishes at the Parish Hall with an afternoon tea. There is ample parking.

Stout walking shoes recommended. The shorter walk may suit those with young children, as might the Scavenge Hunt.

Bel Canto & Supper under the stars with the Stars

Venue - Burrington Church

Female quartet who have sung oversees and at the Royal Albert Hall.

Their repertoire includs Folk; Barbershop ; Classical; Jazz and Madrigal.
The entrance fee at £10 includes 'Supper under the stars', with an indoor option!

Rocky the bull and John Challis

ROCKY'S GARDEN PARTY

Saturday 28th June 12.00 - 5pm
ROCKY, the 'Starring Bull' from the BBC series 'Green Green Grass' will be holding a Garden Party at his home
Abbey Court Farm Wigmore N. Herefordshireto which all are welcome.
Rocky hopes to have some of his co-stars, the cast in attendance .

The events will include Games, Stalls, Lunches, |Teas, and refreshments.
Local Schools, CAMEO, the Teme Valley Youth Group have so far been invited to man a stall in order to raise funds and their profile in the local community.

Rocky will be there of course with some sheep friends. He plans to invite the local firebrigade to come, some vintage cars, the local History Group and a marching band.

As we get confirmation of the various activities we will firm up this item of news, in the meantime make a date in your diary. There will be ample free off road parking. Rocky will charge £1 for adults, nothing for children to join the party. This money will go to Wigmore Abbey Parish for charitable giving and towards the costs of the parish.

There will be free Off Road parking , but a charge to go to the Garden Party

SCARECROW SUNDAY BRAMPTON BRYAN

AUGUST 3rd from 10.30am,

Dolly Scarecrow

The annual Scarecrow Sunday Festival takes place throughout the Minstrelvillage of Brampton Bryan in the North West part of the County of Hereford.

Apart from the Scarecrow trail there will be games and challenges for young people. Lunches, Teas and Refreshments will be served during the day.

There will be an array of stalls .

The church in Brampton Bryan is one of about six that were built during the English Commonwealth. This church is well worth a visit because of the hammer beam roof and fairly rare layout inside.

There will be ample Free Off Road Parking - though there is a charge to enter the Scarecrow Fete
